Memories of the Brawl in Philly

Nice. Apocalpyse averted. 5 days ago the end was nigh. Apparently, it was nothing a 2 game, 14 goal explosion couldn't cure. Oh well. I'd rather have fan passion with a side order of fickle than complacency and a one way ticket to Portland.

Toronto is here again night. The Sens have the cheap shot art work of Darcy Tucker, Mats Sundin and Chad Kilger pinned to their fridges.

I’m not saying it will be anything like March 5th, 2004. Remember? That was the night the most penalties in a single game occurred in a fight-filled match between the Sens and Flyers when 419 penalty minutes were handed out. The story line there was one of possible revenge. Instead of Tucker or Kilger, the culprit was Martin Havlat who had booted Mark Recchi in the crotch in the last meeting.

More than a few people thought that incident was much ado about nothing, as many do for tonight's game. However it plays out, the Leafs have me all riled up again. I hate them as much as ever. With that, I present the video of that brawl filled night in Philly.

I'm guessing this video was taken the same night Tie Domi got with with Tia Carrere for the first time. Oh my. The first person to make that logo look like something other than the mark of the beast.

Nice to see that Habs fans share Ottawa's hatred of the Leafs.
