April Fool's!

If done well, an April Fool’s gag is a lot of fun. Once the victim realizes he’s been had, it really shouldn’t impact his day that badly. But some people have it all wrong. If you push your mailman down the stairs and yell, “April Fool’s! Ba ha ha ha!”, you have it all wrong. And you’re probably going to jail.

I think my choice of an April Fool’s joke for our show was a winner last week. We caught a lot of you with fake news that Alexei Yashin was returning. Many of you felt like you'd been kicked in the crotch, as Yashin appears to have been in this photo. Sure, a few listeners, lying in wait for a prank, emailed and referenced it as lame.

The New York Times didn’t think it was lame.

I love how Pierre gets the love here. He's the guy who harpooned the gag after our 8:05 hit with him!
